Hi Members,
The committee has decided to enter 3 teams for the ensuing pennant season.
Division 3 (16 Players)
Division 5 (16 Players) &
Division 8/9 (12 Players)

to ensure the 3 sides can be filled each week we will require 44 players. This does not account for ill health, work & family commitments etc which will cause player unavailability from week to week.

Our assessment is the club will require a roster of minimum 52 playing members for the 3 teams to be viable – we currently estimate we have 42 players which means we are looking to find another 10 bowlers. The bowls season kicks off with training from 08.08.2024 and competition on 19th October 2024.

Please can everyone make an effort to encourage friends, family, colleagues, enemies etc, etc to join and commit to bowling at West Coburg. 1st year membership is free, we can offer 1 on 1 “coaching” with one of our experienced bowlers or direct people to on line tuition which is an excellent learning method.
